I have always said that Fuel Cleveland is the best motorcycle show in this part of the country. Here is a description of what the show is “Fuel Cleveland is a free show to all, showcasing motorcycle builders, rare bike owners, painters, and photographers”. This year Fuel Cleveland moved to a new location. The Madison Venue. Clean and open floor plan, polished floors, white walls, beautiful windows, brilliant lighting, clean bathrooms and air conditioned. It was a great building with all the facilities, but there are so many great bikes and the crowd was huge. This show has grown and if you missed it you really need to start planning for next year.
I went up what I thought was early to grab breakfast at a local soul food restaurant only to find they were closed. I looked around and found a place called Shays. I ask the waitress what should I get. It ended up being a 4 egg omelette with a ton of sausage and ham along with peppers onions and tomato's. It came with grits and home fries. Now that was a great start for the day. After that I headed to the show figuring it would be a slow start and wanting to get there with a crowd. 20 minutes after 12:00 the place was packed. I could not believe the bikes out front and the people at the show. The parking lot was a museum in itself with all the bikes there were driven there. The crowd was so diverse it was interesting.
This year they had a vender section out doors and you could walk around and talk. It made for a great time bouncing from the parking lot to the vendors and then inside through out the afternoon. The crowd made it very difficult to photograph all the bikes in the show but I did end up with most of them. One of the bikes that got the most attention was in the vendors section in front of the Jamboozi display. It is a 1955 Pan build they are just finishing up.
