2019 welcomed the fourth Gears and Grubs by having Breweries and about 25 food vendors surrounding Perry Square. This year they moved from the West Erie Plaza bringing a food truck festival like I have never seen. This was a local event featuring local food vendors, local breweries and local bands along with local artists and crafters and face painting, a pick-a-prize auction, raffle baskets for all ages, and daily 50/50s .
It was nice to be in the shade while enjoying great food and listening to the local band First to Eleven. The lead singer had a great voice and the choice of songs was outstanding. I had to do a total walk through before I could decide on what was the choice of food for lunch. The only thing missing was having a section blocked off for bike parking only, but there was plenty of parking and a lot of space to ramble around.
