The Mayor’s Ride Roar on the Shore

Every year, the Roar on the Shore has The Mayor’s Ride. Joe Schember, the Mayor of Erie, does not ride motorcycles, so he headed up the parade as a passenger in a Slingshot, leading bikers on a ride around Presque Isle State Park during Thunder on the Isle.

Officials with the Manufacturer & Business Association, which organizes Roar on the Shore, estimate the five-day rally could produce a $30-$35 million economic impact to the Erie region.
